Qiddiya Investment Company, an innovative leader in the entertainment, sports, and arts sector, is looking for a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Director - Cost Planning (CDU707). This strategic role requires an exceptional leader who will drive cost planning efforts across various projects, ensuring financial efficiency and sustainability.

You will be responsible for establishing robust cost management frameworks, leading a team of cost analysts, and directly reporting to the senior management team. Your role will involve meticulous planning, forecasting, and monitoring of project costs, ensuring they align with the company’s financial goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cost planning strategies to support Qiddiya's expansive development projects.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide insights on cost performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cost planning professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimates and adherence to budgets.
  • Identify, assess, and manage financial risks associated with project costs and timelines.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies and cost management initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and economic indicators to inform cost estimation and financial planning practices.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for cost management and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, construction management, engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 12 - 16 years of relevant experience in cost planning or financial management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects with complex cost structures.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and financial management tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as PMP, RICS, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in the Middle Eastern market is a plus.
