JOB-SPECIFIC
▪ Responsible for the overall safety of all Guest and Colleagues within and while visiting Aquarabia Water Theme Park, with a
commitment to Zero Drownings and the Loss of Life Due to Drowning.
▪ Coordinates with the Managers and Assistant Managers, Aquatics on the overall Operation and Performance of Aquarabia Water
Theme Park with a specific focus on the Aquatics Department.
▪ Oversees the daily operation and management of all 22 Aquatic Attractions within Aquarabia Water Theme Park by means of
carrying out the following - Attraction Inspection, Attraction Manning, Attraction Training, Attraction Performance, Attraction
Operation.
▪ Oversees the Management of the Lifeguards within Aquatics.
▪ Responsible for Guest Safety and Satisfaction in line with the standards and requirements set forth by the Aquatic's Risk
Management, Qiddiya and Aquarabia Core Values and Mission Statement, Local and International Standards and Requirements,
Guest Satisfaction Key Performance Indicators and Guest Feedback and Experiences.
▪ Respond to and assist in any Medical Emergency within the scope of Certification & Training.
▪ Assist Guest with any lost party or separation from children as well as lost property.
▪ Assist other departments as needed, taking on additional roles and responsibilities, including Six Flags Theme Park.
▪ Responsible for the cleanliness of all Guest and Colleague areas, including non-Aquatic aspects of the Operation.
▪ Responsible for the Direct Management of the Aquatic Lifeguard Team: Performance Management and Mentorship,
Training, Scheduling and Day to Day Responsibilities, Duties and Performance.
▪ Participation in various Public Relations and Marketing Activities to promote Aquarabia Water Theme Park.
▪ Representative of Aquarabia Water Theme Park during internal and external audits as they relate to Aquarabia Water Theme
Park’s overall operation and Aquatic operation.
▪ Liaise with other Departments with Aquarabia Water Theme Park and Qiddiya Six Flags to ensure Guest and Colleague
Satisfaction.
▪ Work scheduled shifts on Holidays, Weekends and Non-Operational Hours as required by Management and the Aquarabia
Water Theme Park Operation deems, including before and after-hours trainings, meetings, events and any other functions
deemed necessary by Management.
▪ Meet the physical requirements such as: to be on your feet for prolong periods of time, to work in different environmental
conditions (Rain, Cold, Heat, Sand, Wind, etc.) , to carry out physical attraction inspections (climbing of stairs, walking
inside waterslide flumes, swimming & diving to inspect pool floors and drains, etc.), to perform all water related, slide
related and attraction related rescue techniques as well as First Aid care, 20/20 Vision or Corrective Lens (including
Sunglasses),
▪ Ensure that Aquarabia Water Theme Park is Fun, for Guest and Colleagues and oneself.
Education Minimum
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
2-4 Years Attraction / Recreational Industry Minimum with 1 Year Middle East and/or International Work.
Previously Held Management Level Positions (Team Leader / Senior Lifeguard).
Previous experience in a large scale waterpark operation is desired.
Skills
Meet the basic requirements of an ILTP Lifeguard and or Instructor License or equivalent at all times.
Meet the requirements of Attraction certifications as they relate to water slides & pools.
Perform all pool, rides and attraction related trainings, inspections and daily operational management of.
Effective administrative skills including Microsoft Office and IT systems related to attraction management.
