Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Telephone Operator to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Telephone Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a courteous and helpful attitude
  • Coordinate wake-up calls, messages, and other personalized guest services
  • Assist guests in making reservations for dining, activities, or other services
  • Process and confirm room reservations, ensuring proper documentation
  • Relay messages and connect calls between guests and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate logs of calls, requests, and complaints
  • Monitor and update the internal communication system
  • Assist in emergencies by providing clear communication to both guests and staff
  • Uphold high standards of customer service in all interactions
  • Actively seek feedback from guests to improve telephone services

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar role or customer service preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Proficiency in using telephone systems and booking software
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
  • Friendly, professional, and patient demeanor
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends
