Job Description

This role will drive the sales and revenue accounting cycle, documentation and journals according to company policy and report to CFO

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the billing system, generating invoices and account statements
  • Performing account reconciliations and resolve clients billing issues
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
  • Issuing customer account statements and ensuring consistency and conformity
  • Overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts data
  • Overseeing maintenance of historical records by scanning and filing documents
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collection performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts receivable function.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the company

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in accounts receivable accounting with at least three years in a supervisory role
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance
  • DipIFR is a plus
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Familiar with vat
  • Ability to reflect on one's own work as well as the wider consequences of financial decisions
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
