JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the achievement of sales target of Daikin DX/VRV product within the assigned territory in Egypt.
• Develop strong relationships with the customers (contractors and sub-contractors) and uphold the image and reputation of Daikin as the supplier of choice in order to generate new business and sales inquiries.
• Review sales inquiries and guide application engineering team in making quotations and submittals.
• Follow up on submittals for approvals from customers.
• Familiarize with the HVAC industry trends and competition in local market.
• Pursue and negotiate the contractual/commercial terms and close direct orders from contractors and developers.
• Follow up with existing projects and coordinate with Logistics and Service teams to provide after sales support to existing customers.
• Verify the payment/credit term & condition and follow up the payment.
• Bring critical customer requirements back into the development, production, and marketing processes.
• Input, monitor and update CRM data on regular basis and prepare sales reports for the management.
• Monitor market and gather market intelligence such as competitor prices, specs and new product launches.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience & Qualification:
• Minimum 7 - 9 years of experience in HVAC sector.
• Extensive technical knowledge in DX/VRV/VRF systems.
• Strong ability to negotiate contractual/commercial terms.
• Strong understanding and work exposure in project sales.
• Work experience with strong network of business contacts (contractors and sub-contractors in Egypt).
• Experience of working in international and multicultural environment is preferable.
• Egypt driving license.
Education:
• University degree in engineering. Additional MBA or post graduate degree is desirable.
Skills:
• Excellent communication (presentation, negotiation and influencing) skills both spoken and written in English and Arabic.
• Familiar with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Personality:
• Result-oriented, enthusiastic, sense of ownership, good team player, proactive, adaptable, creative and persistent.
