At Electra, we are seeking skilled individuals who align with our vision of being the preferred contracting partner for both local and international clients aiming to establish events within the GCC.

Under the leadership of the Stock Coordinator, the Storekeeper will oversee inventory management and stock handling utilizing BC ERP along with performing data entries and documentation.<\/em>

Main Accountabilities:

Store Operations:

Order Fulfillment:

· Accurately pick and pack materials for production orders as dictated by production needs.

· Ensure prompt and correct delivery of materials to the production teams.

· Organize materials systematically to enable easy access.

· Coordinate daily activities with the team.

· Verify that all item descriptions, quantities, and UOM are correctly specified in internal purchase requests.

Inventory Management:

· Perform regular stock audits and inventory assessments.

· Assist in the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming raw materials and products.

· Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of materials according to warehouse standards.

Material Handling:

· Transport materials and products to and from production areas as necessary.

· Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy and safety in handling.

· Make certain that materials are available for production lines as required.

Stock Rotation:

· Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices, ensuring the use of materials before expiration dates.

· Regularly inspect for damaged or expired stock and report these for proper disposal or return to suppliers.

Safety and Housekeeping:

· Strictly adhere to all warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

· Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring that aisles and storage areas are free from obstructions.

· Alert the warehouse supervisor to any safety hazards or damaged equipment.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Support the maintenance of precise records of stock movements, material usage, and deliveries.

· Regularly report on stock levels and materials needed.

· Comply with the company’s recycling procedures and ensure the proper disposal of office consumables to contribute to environmental preservation.

Collaboration:

· Engage closely with production, quality control, and other warehouse teams to ensure operational efficiency.

· Contribute to inventory forecasting and stock planning based on production schedules.

· Be prepared to manage the store in the absence of the stock coordinator.

Knowledge & Experience

Experience: 2-3 years in a Store Assistant role with comprehensive store functions, particularly in stock management.

Certification: Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.

Education: Degree or equivalent.

Languages: Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Systems: Competence in MS Applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint). Knowledge of ERP systems is required.

Other Skills and Competencies:

· Physically capable of lifting weights of up to 25 KG.

· Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.

· Strong time management abilities and skillful in prioritizing tasks.

· Availability to work on weekends and during late hours as necessary.

General Responsibilities Relating to Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Standards:

  • Utilize machinery, tools, and equipment provided by the company correctly.
  • Use personal protective equipment to ensure compliance across the department.
  • Never remove safety devices from machinery or installations.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and collaborate with Electra to maintain risk-free working conditions in health and safety matters.
  • Follow the company’s recycling initiatives and contribute to reducing environmental impacts.

Store Operations:

·        Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production teams.

·        Ensure that materials are stored in an organized manner for easy access.

·        Co-ordinate with team for day-to-day activities.

·        To check all the items description, quantity, UOM are mentioned accurately in internal PR.

·        Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts.

·        Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming raw materials and products.

·        Ensure materials are labeled, tagged, and stored according to warehouse guidelines.

  Material Handling:

·        Transport materials and products to and from production areas.

·        Support loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring accuracy and safety.

·        Ensure that materials are available for production lines as required.

·        Provide regular reports on stock levels and material requirements.

·        You are obliged to follow the company’s recycling process, hence, proper disposable of office consumables to help the environment is a must.

  Collaboration:

·        Work closely with production, quality control, and other warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.

·        Assist with inventory forecasting and stock planning based on production schedules.

·        Able to handle the store during the absence of stock coordinator.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Number of years of Experience:

2-3 years of exp. as Store Assistant with full store functions (stock knowledge) Certification:

ERP knowledge would be an advantage.

Education:

Degree or equivalent Languages:

English ( Read, Write and Speak)

Nationalities : Indian

Systems:

MS/Applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)

Knowledge of ERP systems

Other skills and competencies (Ex. Soft Skills)

        Physically able to lift up to 25 KG weight.

·        Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with staffs.

·        Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.

·       Must be able to work during weekends and late evening.

General Obligations towards Occupational health and safety and Environmental 

  • You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, and all equipment issued by the company.  
  • You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company and ensure it complies throughout the department employees. 
  • You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.  
  • You will perform all tasks set forth by safety regulations and cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and conditions that do not pose any risks in terms of health and safety.  
  • You are obliged to follow the company’s recycling process, reduce and monitor resource consumption as contribution to reduce environmental aspects and impacts.
