About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the Information Technology team in Inside Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage incidents and service requests through various communication channels. Providing support to back of house and front of house colleagues.
  • Capture and maintain accurate case details for each process to enable greater shared knowledge and reporting.
  • Develop solutions or workarounds using problem solving techniques to restore services as quickly as possible.
  • Identify and promptly allocate unresolved cases as appropriate to ensure progression, advise users of actions taken.
  • Adhere to IT Standards, deploying PCs and Laptops, POS Machines on the Jumeirah Network proactively resolve any faults that may be observed during this process.
  • User Management (creation, resetting passwords and account deactivation) for all business applications following pre-defined standards.


About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Certified in Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician (MCDST)
  • Advanced written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a specialization in IT / ITIL or CobIT Certification (Desired).
