Daikan Izakaya, City Walk, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Waitress to lead our exceptional team and elevate the dining experience for our guests. In this key leadership role, you will manage front-of-house operations, train and mentor staff, and ensure that our high standards of service are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate waitstaff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to service protocols.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding service to guests, addressing any concerns and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Training and Development: Train new staff members on menu knowledge, service techniques, and customer engagement.
- Shift Management: Oversee daily dining room operations, including setting the floor plan, managing reservations, and coordinating with the kitchen.
- Menu Presentation: Assist in menu planning and daily specials, providing recommendations to guests and ensuring staff is knowledgeable.
- Inventory Management: Help monitor supplies and assist with ordering and inventory management as needed.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all service areas comply with health and safety regulations.
