Job Purpose

The Transaction Banking Services (TBS) unit provides a full-featured product suite covering Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management and Payment Solutions which enables clients to optimize their working capital and also build efficiency and automation in their day-to-day business operations.

TBS provides an integrated single window approach for all transactional requirements of its corporate clientele across various segments and sectors such as commercial, government and financial institutions. It aims at assisting them with innovative financing and payment solutions as well as offers the convenience of interacting with the bank, away from traditional means.

The Transaction Banking team continuously interacts with CFO’s and Treasury Teams of its corporate clients and is committed to build strong relationships by meeting their underlying organizational objectives.

Business Analyst is a special role which is introduced within a squad sometimes to help Product Owners in Requirement Elicitation,

Documentation and Product Backlog creation.

While they support product owners in day-to-day work, but they should not be confused with Product Owner role at all as their span of

responsibility is mostly limited to assist product owner in Requirements Elicitation and acting as Functional Test Leads

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all new (Business Requirement Document) BRDs are reviewed and accepted by all stakeholders
  • For approved BRDs, ensure timely creation of Functional Specifications Document (FSDs) and set delivery timelines with the vendor and impacted platform owners accordingly
  • Review, prioritize and publish the channel backlog at regular intervals
  • Conduct epic/feature prioritization and customer Usability Testing workshops
  • Leverage automated testing tools and scripts to optimize testing efficiency
  • Communicate the product release plan to all stakeholders
  • Conduct comprehensive production sanity involving pilot clients prior to launch
  • Owner of all Technology Risks, Issues, Problem Tickets, Audit Issues and Resiliency issues (Technical Debt) which exist on the business product
  • and is responsible to get them resolved with the help of the squad as per defined SLAs and committed timelines
  • They are responsible to distinguish and transform wants from needs, perform requirement elicitation by using various techniques, and ensure documentation of those requirements in form of Product Backlog and User Stories by creating Use Cases, Functional Process Flows, Accounting Plans as supporting document
  • They also help Product Owners in producing detailed Product Specs and Documentation as and when needed by PO
  • Provide domain and functional expertise for the product
  • Lead End User Training
  • Lead Functional and Non-Functional Testing
  • Responsible to manage Test Execution with Test Engineers
  • Maintain Product Backlog Items’ traceability to the customer realization through various stages of the Product Delivery
  • Provide insights for latest trends on similar products
  • Channel and platform production support for Account Information and Payment Services (for UAE, KSA, Egypt, India and EI)

Requirements

Education

  • Graduate, preferably Business/Finance/Accounting

Experiences

Extensive experience in regional banking industry experience with specialization in Cash and Payment Product delivery

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to translate business discussions for technical teams and likewise, technical discussions for business stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills with good spoken English
