Data Governance Consultant

Master-Works is in search of a talented Data Governance Consultant to strengthen our commitment to data integrity and compliance. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to design, implement, and uphold our data governance strategy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing data governance frameworks that ensure the quality and protection of data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing data governance practices and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Develop and implement data governance policies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to promote best practices in data stewardship across the organization.
• Monitor data management activities to ensure adherence to governance standards and protocols.
• Prepare reports and presentations on data governance initiatives and their outcomes for executive management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance or data management roles.
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, data lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Proven ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to various audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGI-P).
• Experience with data governance software tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with data analytics and data visualization tools.
