About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ess to join the Food & Beverage Team at Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

About the Job:

• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware as applicable 
• Assist in the preparation of sufficient and clean, operating equipment prior to the commencement of service 
• Ensure that high standard of personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed and followed 
• Ensure the guests of the outlet experience an enjoyable and memorable by following the outlet sequence of service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately including any special requests. Inform Kitchen as per the request 
• Input the order into PO System, if needed 
• Work with bartenders to fill beverage orders. Work with kitchen staff to process and expedite food orders 
• Use established food handling and serving techniques as per Jumeirah standard

About you: 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel
• Higher Secondary School certificate or Country specific certification 
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
