Purpose of Job
The job holder is responsible for managing Classification and Publication function including development of policies and procedures for classification, publication, and archiving of cases and decisions, classification of cases, publishing of final decisions, and digital archiving to ensure ease of access and retrieval and sharing with concerned stakeholders.'
Job Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Contribute to the development of Appeals Committees Legal Studies business plan ensuring alignment with GSTC strategy
- Develop the operational plan for Classification and Publication in line with Appeals Committees Legal Studies business plan and GSTC strategic plan
- Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Classification and Publication goals that support GSTC’s overall strategic plans
Budget Management
- Discuss Classification and Publication budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process
- Ensure effective utilization of Classification and Publication budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
- Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for Classification and Publication and mitigates financial and operational risks
Classification and Publication
- Manage the development of policies, procedures, and standards for classification, publication, and archiving of cases and decisions in line with internal requirements and best practices to ensure ease of access and retrieval
- Ensure that cases are classified according to type and priority
- Manage the timely publishing of judicial principles and final decisions taken by the Appeals Committees according to set procedures for communication purposes
- Manage digital archiving of related cases and legal reports for future reference according to set procedures
- Resolve escalated issues and gaps by enforcing corrective action plans
People Management
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent
- Guide, mentor and support direct reports in order to execute duties according to set policies and processes
- Develop individual performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise team and provide regular feedback on performance
- Establish a high-performance working environment and promote ZATCA and GSTC values
Job Details
Communication and Contacs
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Archives and Records Management, or equivalent is required
- Master’s degree in Archives and Records Management, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
Experience
An optimal of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 3 years of experience in managerial level
