Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) aims to realize the wise vision of Dubai’s leadership to institutionalize the envisioned future and forward-thinking methodologies, while positioning Dubai as the leading city of the future. Where does this role fit into the bigger picture?

Dubai Future Foundation recently launched Sandbox Dubai, a Regulatory Sandbox that centers around four key themes: Artificial Intelligence, Health Tech, Green technology, and Real Estate technology. We would like to invite talented and experienced individuals to join our dynamic team as we embark on this journey.


As we embrace the challenges and opportunities of the modern regulatory landscape, we are seeking talented individuals who are eager to contribute their expertise and creativity to the Sandbox Dubai initiatives. We aim to explore novel solutions, foster collaboration across sectors, and pave the way for transformative changes that benefit both consumers and industries of Dubai.


In the broader context of Sandbox Dubai, the Office Manager reports to the Director of Sandbox Dubai.


Office Manager

As an Office Manager with Sandbox Dubai, you will be responsible for organizing and implementing the team’s administrative activities to ensure all programs run smoothly and effectively.


Office Management

• You will be responsible for managing all administrative tasks related to Sandbox Dubai, inclusive of all scheduling, organizational and logistics aspects.

• You will support the Director of Sandbox Dubai in preparing executive leadership updates, including collating and preparing relevant input from across the team.

• You will support the Head of Operations in managing the budget, raising purchase orders, keeping a record of invoices, submitting them for approval, and updating the budget accordingly.

• You will be responsible for managing event logistics, coordinate with vendors on venues/catering/etc., and ensure end-to-end delivery of all internal and external engagements.

• You will manage the Sandbox Dubai’s calendar in coordination with other team members to ensure all course, event and meeting information is updated.

• You will also be responsible for responding to any queries related to the Sandbox Dubai via email or telephone.


Third Party Relationships

• You will coordinate with procurement and finance departments to raise purchase orders and ensure payments are completed.

• You will coordinate with executive assistants of executive leadership to arrange meetings and briefings as needed.

You will be the point of contact for the administration of Sandbox Dubai, so you will need to be agile, well-organized and a great problem solver. Your role will be instrumental in making sure the myriad projects, initiatives, and inquiries are taken care of and that the Sandbox administration runs smoothly.

Who we are looking for?

• You will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field.

• You will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience as an executive assistant, office manager, office Manager or a related role.

• You will have excellent interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication capabilities in English. In addition, Arabic language capability is strongly preferred.

• You will need to be adaptable, self-starting, with demonstrated problem-solving skills, able to work and think creatively in challenging situations.

• You will have technical skills in Microsoft Office and managing databases.

• You will be proactive, professional and have great attention to details with working under pressure.

• You will have basic budgeting capabilities and expenses management.

• You will have excellent time management skills, be able to multi-task and meet tight and changing deadlines.
