Job Purpose
Responsible for the safety, availability, and comfort of the track by ensuring the reliability of maintenance operations.
Manage technicians and operators under his responsibility.
Responsibilities/Duties
Profil de candidat recherché :
- Ensure the long-term reliability and sustainability of the LRT network's track and workshop installations.
- Maintain railway safety and the sustainability of installations.
- Oversee the proper technical progress of corrective and cyclical maintenance projects.
- Facilitate effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform related duties as assigned by Track Manager
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the safety of agents by enforcing safety instructions on a site.
- Plan, organize, oversee, and adjust team activities as required.
- Contribute to the training and development of the team members.
- Align with the company’s strategic objectives and goals.
- Monitor and manage the economic impact of maintenance activities.
- Oversee the completion of maintenance projects and track inspections.
- Ensure the logistics of maintenance worksites.
- Assist in managing the transition and coordination of maintenance activities between night and day shifts.
- Ensuring continuity of service.
- Ensure knowledge of the condition of the track (including analysis of reports).
- Conduct inventory checks for online stock and equipment during night shifts).
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical or civil engineer.
- Know the technology of the Metro track.
- Know the constraints related to the operation of the lines.
- Know Track Maintenance.
- Know distressing process.
- Knowing how to manage an emergency intervention.
- Know how to read and interpret readings from measuring vehicles.
- Know the methods of site planning.
- Knowing how to ensure the conduct of work on operated and unoperated track.
- Know how to use CMMS software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in track maintenance.
- Have experience in the change management culture.
- Strong track knowledge.
- Management skills.
- Ability to communicate with staff of all levels.
