Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the commercial aspects related to residential construction projects, including procurement, budgeting, and contract negotiation
- Ensure all contracts are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Lead contract negotiations and resolve any disputes that may arise
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on commercial matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Construction Management, or Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial management, with a focus on residential construction
- Proven track record of managing complex contracts and procurement processes
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle multi-stakeholder engagements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of contract law and construction regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong leadership skills and experience in team management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
