Qiddiya Investment Company is committed to environmental sustainability and innovative solutions, and we are looking for a Senior Manager - Waste Management to lead our waste management initiatives. In this key role, you will develop and implement strategies for efficient waste management across all projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and contributing to our overall sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive waste management strategies for all phases of the development process, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's sustainability objectives.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of waste management programs, including collection, recycling, treatment, and disposal of waste generated by projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national environmental regulations related to waste management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate waste minimization practices into project planning and execution.
- Conduct regular audits of waste management practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with waste management contractors and service providers to optimize waste disposal services.
- Lead training and awareness initiatives to foster a culture of sustainability within the organization.
- Prepare reports on waste management performance metrics and progress towards sustainability targets for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to waste management and sustainability.
متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Waste Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in waste management or environmental sustainability, with a focus on project implementation.
- Strong understanding of waste management regulations and sustainability best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in waste management software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
