We are embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we have an amazing opportunity for you to join our team in KONE Middle East, Turkiye & Africa (KMTA), as Head of Marketing, Business Intelligence & Customer Experience. This role directly reports to the Strategy & Marketing Director, KMTA.

The Head of Marketing, Business Intelligence & Customer Experience, KMTA is responsible for planning, developing, and executing the marketing strategy of KONE in Middle East, Türkiye & Africa. The marketing head oversees the KMTA marketing team and collaborates with other functions to achieve the KONE's goals and objectives.

What will you be doing?

Marketing strategy and leadership

  • Participate in business planning with the frontline leadership team to develop a marketing strategy that is based on local business requirements, aligned with global and Area marketing guidance, and consistent with KONE’s overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Marketing, Business Intelligence (BI), and Customer Experience (CX) team, ensuring they succeed in their work.
  • Co-operate and share best practices with KONE Global and Area team and other marketing professionals within KONE. Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies (for example, printing houses, event agencies, advertising agencies, and graphic designers)
  • Understand different marketing strategies, tools, and channels. Apply existing global processes, channels, and tools where applicable. Co-operate with global, Area, and other frontline teams in developing new processes, channels, and tools.
  • Plan and manage external events according to global brand & event guidelines in collaboration with Communications.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of target audiences.
  • Follow-up frontline activities and regularly provide information and feedback about the activities to the global and area marketing team

Marketing and brand management

  • Participate in developing marketing material and activities together with the global and area marketing team
  • Localize and utilize global and area marketing material and activities to meet business priorities
  • Develop local marketing materials and activities to meet local business priorities where needed
  • Create demand, support sales and increase customer loyalty and KONE brand strength by implementing and following-up marketing activities (e.g., direct mailing, events, advertising, web marketing, social media marketing) for different market and customer segments
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the organization (particularly in the sales and customer service functions) to ensure that marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business, reach results, and align with the overall corporate objectives.

Business intelligence and customer experience

  • Plan and lead market, competitor, and customer intelligence activities: Monitor, analyze, and evaluate local market trends and segments, customer/influencer behavior, and competitor activities to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing customer needs, markets, and competitive conditions.
  • Plan and lead the measurement and development of customer loyalty in the frontline: plan and execute customer loyalty and transactional surveys, understand and analyze the findings, create action plans in collaboration with the business, and follow up on the actions and results

Are you the one?

  • Masters degree in Marketing and/or Communications management or other relevant courses
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Marketing and a minimum 2-3 years in the Middle East, Türkiye and/or Africa)
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership with a minimum of 4 years
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven track record of Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) experience
  • Brand and reputation management understanding
  • Knowledgeable in Customer segmentation and market analysis
  • Well-versed on buying behavior and customer understanding in the industry or an adjacent industry
  • Proven track record in commercial strategy planning and project implementation
  • Local resident in Egypt / Türkiye / UAE / Saudi
