Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Presenting to doctors, within the specific target reach for this disease entity.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff.
  • Managing budgets for catering, outside speakers, conferences, hospitality.
  • Keeping detailed records of all contacts and reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets.
  • Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the area sales manager.
  • Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
  • Keeping up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting, and discussing this data with healthcare professionals during presentations.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products.
  • Proactively assess and defines challenges faced at territorial level and pitches to management for potential territorial/national solutions to better find opportunities for growth.
  • Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and engage with contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.

Qualifications

  • BSc. degree in Pharmacy
  • 0 - 3 years of experience working as a Professional Medical Representative
  • Exceptional communication skills that include listening, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Team player, and has the ability persuade, relate, and network.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and build long-term business relationships.
  • Proactive approach to solutions Strong analytical and sales analysis skills Results oriented with ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging assignments.
