Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, leases, and correspondence.
  • Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the hospitality industry, ensuring that the hotel remains compliant with all legal requirements.
  • Conduct legal research on various topics, including but not limited to labor laws, property laws, and liability issues, providing summaries and recommendations as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for litigation matters, including gathering relevant documents, organizing evidence, and coordinating with external legal counsel.
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking contracts and agreements, monitoring expiration dates, and facilitating renewals or terminations as necessary.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the senior management, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.


Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • Prior experience working in a legal setting or as a legal assistant is preferred, particularly within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with legal principles and procedures, including contract law, property law, and litigation processes. Proficiency in legal research and writing is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external parties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases.
  • Demonstrated integrity and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
