GVC is assisting an esteemed hospital in the United Arab Emirates with the expansion of their veterinary professional team and is seeking to hire new nurses.

With a team of approx 40 members this hospital is looking to expand its nursing team, the nurses are responsible for managing the surgical day, handling tasks such as preparing, monitoring, and overseeing the recovery of surgical patients. Primary responsibilities include placing IV catheters, collecting blood samples, performing dental scale-and-polish procedures, conducting dental and some other x-rays, and discharging routine patients. Additionally, assist in anesthesia. to be considered for this position you will need to be RCVS registered or equivalent.

A standard day shift week involves five working days. Four weekdays (now Mon-Fri in the UAE), and one weekend day (Sat or Sun). Your weekend day and day off in the week are set - so you have the same days off every week. A standard workweek is 40-44 hours

There will also be mixed roster of night work and day work which can allow up to 4 months off per year.

Each day presents unique challenges and you will be fully integrated and supported within the existing nursing team.

English is a widely spoken language in UAE, so local language skills are not necessary.
