Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field).
Proven experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated control and safety systems within industrial settings.
In-depth knowledge of control system principles, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems).
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISA, IEC, NFPA, API).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance in ICSS designs and operation.
Professional certification in control systems engineering or safety engineering preferable (e.g., ISA Certified Automation Professional, TÜV Functional Safety Engineer).
10 years’ experience with Delta-V ICSS platform and technologies
10 years’ experience with St Studio 5000 programming platforms and various logix500 hardware suites, such as ControlLogix, FlexLogix, CompactLogix
10 years’ experience working on various industrial network platforms including Modbus, Industrial Ethernet, Ethernet IP, RSnetworx for ControlNet and Devicenet
10 years’ experience with SCADA packages such as Wonderware and FactoryTalk
Familiarity with process industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation, or manufacturing.
Some experience for managing small ICSS projects upgrades from conception to completion is preferable.
