Job Purpose:

To lead the implementation of Dubai Chamber’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and the development and execution of CSR programs and their relative value-added services, leading end-to-end process activities, and facilitating the provision of support services, in a successful manner and in line with Dubai Chamber’s established standards, parameters, and objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Develop, manage & support the full cycle implementation of company-wide CSR and internal communications activities.
  • Work to integrate CSR/sustainability principles into the organization’s strategic planning, management systems, operations, and functions.
  • Foster a culture of CSR within Dubai Chambers, which includes educating employees about the importance of CSR, encouraging employee participation in CSR initiatives, and recognizing and rewarding employee contributions to CSR.

 

Program Development and Implementation

  • Lead in the identification, design, and development of existing and new CSR programs / initiatives and their relative value-added services, in collaboration with other departments to support and promote CSR and sustainability within the business community, in line with the Chamber’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.

Program / Initiative Development, Planning and Execution

  • Lead planning and manage the implementation of all activities pertaining to at least two CSR programs, assigning responsibilities and tasks across the team, to ensure all requirements are fulfilled, in line with operational and strategic objectives of the programs.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain a productive and professional relationships with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of existing programs and initiatives, and ongoing nurturing of mutual benefits.

Communication Management

  • Coordinate and maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders, and delivery of key messages in a consistent and integrated manner to achieve the desired impact / objectives, according to the set communication plans, standards, and guidelines.

 

CSR Training

  • Develop, coordinate and deliver CSR training program to ensure effectiveness in creating awareness and capacity among businesses in Dubai and the UAE. 

 

Internal Collaboration

  • Maintain effective internal collaboration with other departments as necessary in order maximize synergies, opportunities and results pertaining to CSR programs / initiatives overall cycles.

CSR Feedback

  • Measure and report on the impact of the organization’s CSR initiatives. This includes developing metrics and tools to assess the effectiveness of CSR projects, and reporting on the organization’s CSR impact to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to data collection relative to customer’s feedback reports, ensuring the same are informed on status of CSR offerings for effective decision-making.

 

Information Security

  • Adherence to the information security policies/processes/program and for reporting any security breaches or incidents to the direct management.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant fields

inimum Experience and Skills

  • 3 - 5 years of progressive relevant experience in managing CSR programs in private / government organisations
  • Excellent project and program management skills
  • Excellent knowledge in CSR field and international CSR standards and best practices
  • Excellent in CSR KPI’s assessment and evaluation
  • Excellent experience event management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal communication skills
  • Excellent training skills is an advantage
  • Excellent reporting skills in English, Arabic is an advantage
