We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Reconciliation Officer. As a Reconciliation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any issues in a timely manner. This is a crucial role within our organization, as it contributes to the overall financial stability and success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily, monthly, and annual reconciliation of financial accounts
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve variances and discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper data entry and accuracy of financial records
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to financial reconciliation
  • Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience in financial reconciliation and data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and financial software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
