Sore Keeper

As a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that products are properly stocked, organized, and available to meet customer demand. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, managing stock levels, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient store operations. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring that they meet quality standards and match purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring that products are properly labeled, shelved, and easily accessible.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as needed, utilizing appropriate channels and maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct regular stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure that products are readily available for customers, facilitating sales and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and finance, to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize stockouts.
• Perform regular quality checks on products to identify damage, defects, or expired items and take appropriate actions, such as arranging replacements or implementing effective disposal procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in storekeeping or related roles.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping practices.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the retail environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
