Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our clients in Giza, Egypt.

A leading technology and software solutions provider in the MEA region offering Digital Transformation solutions along with other IT Services and consultancy.

Job Title: IP Experienced Paralegal Admin.

Scope:

Managing all related tasks for the assigned country as a country rep.

Responsibilities

  • handle all the trademark issues such as filing, assignments, change of name and change of agent, renewals, and searches for the assigned designated countries.
  • Handle all trademark registration issues as received from the client rep, and make sure all deadlines are properly met.
  • Follow up and communicate with the country office on all pending matters such as payments due, legalization, and receipts.
  • Check local publications monthly or as required, ensure that all relative trademarks are published on time, and indicate any infringements if found.
  • Communicate infringements to original owners, by doing due diligence research on the company owner of current trademarks,
  • Ensure all registrations are paid on time and in a duly manner, by liaising with the client rep, client, and country office.
  • Follow up with trademark filing with the TMO.
  • Draft office actions, reply to oppositions and oppositions when the case is necessary
  • Ensure proper due diligence is done when drafting any letters to the TMO, and ensure that it is in line with deadlines, due dates, and law.
  • Follow up on all office actions, and oppositions and reply to oppositions with the country office or the TMO.
  • Make sure all WUPs and client folders are up to date and contain all required information, emails, and instructions.
  • Conduct search and create search reports in line with laws and procedures.
  • Communicating all notices with clients and client reps as per set procedures.
  • Update SOAs for accounting Matters.
  • Update all new laws and regulations per country assigned and communicate them to the team.
  • Follow up on all applications submitted to the TMO or external offices.
  • Ensure all documents are saved properly.
  • Ensure ill updates are properly relayed.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law or related field.
  • Experience in trademark registrations is a must.
  • 3 to 4 years of regional or global experience is a plus.
  • Diligent Personality.
  • Very detail-oriented and enjoy analytical thinking.
  • Very good knowledge of labor laws.
  • Very good English communication skills.
