Purpose Of Role

Is the first touch points of the guest’s physical hotel experience at the hotels main door. Responsible for providing a warm, welcoming and witty experience to all arriving guests as they enter the hotel. Provide a Whatever/Whenever service, by granting Wishes and creating memorable experiences at every encounter.

Key Responsibilities

70% of Time Spent

  • Welcomes and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage delivery. Addresses the guest by name when provided by or obtained from Welcome Desk agent or the luggage tag.
  • Arranges transportation such as hotel limousines as well as public transportation.
  • Gives direction and makes recommendations within Dubai and the hotel for hotel guests and visitors.
  • Introduces the Whatever Whenever concept to the guest.
  • Operates the hotels main door.

30% of Time Spent

  • Keeps abreast on hotel’s products and services as well as on tourist and business travelling information that may be of any interest to our guests.
  • Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of hotel entrance area, takes corrective actions if needed, such as cleaning the Welcome Ambassador trolleys.

Compliance

  • Full compliance with Marriott policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to International Summary Risk Assessment and Control Self-Assessment Audits.
