:Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for various goods, services, and works, aligned with departmental needs and budgetary constraints
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify qualified vendors and ensure competitive pricing
  • Prepare and issue tender documents (e.g., Request for Proposals, Invitations to Bid) in accordance with established procedures and regulations
  • Evaluate and analyze bids/proposals based on pre-defined criteria, ensuring fairness and value for money
  • Conduct negotiations with shortlisted vendors to optimize contract terms and pricing while safeguarding best interests of the organization
  • Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts, incorporating essential terms and conditions
  • Oversee the contract administration process, including monitoring vendor performance, ensuring timely delivery, and addressing any contractual issues
  • Manage and maintain procurement records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and transparency
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement procedures, regulations, and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant procurement laws, regulations, and industry trends
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental procurement policies and guidelines
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in procurement activities
  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and performance metrics

Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
