Job Description

Our company is looking for an experienced and passionate Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing reports.
• Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems.
• Using Python and SQL for complex data mining purposes.
• Working with AWS Redshift for data warehouse management and Data Warehouse concepts.
• Using Airflow for workflow management.
• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
• Securing database systems by developing access controls, backups, and firewall protection.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst of minimum 2 years.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with Python, SQL, Airflow, AWS Redshift and understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is preferred.
