Internal Medicine Specialist/Consultant

We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a degree in medicine and specializes in internal medicine. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our doctor to take the time needed to truly address the patients’ need and we are looking for great individuals who are ready to start working for an organization whose quality metric measures compared to another medical group nationwide. You would be working in the middle of a highly adverse environment with quick access to a popular destination. We see mostly adult patients providing routine primary care.

Internal Medicine Doctor Responsibilities and Duties:

• Treat internal disorder such as heart disease, diabetes, and problems of lungs, brain, and kidney
• Treat chronic disease or disorder
• Administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness
• Administer non-intravenous medications
• Prescribe treatment or therapies
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatment with patients
• Manage and treat common health issues such as infection, influenza, and pneumonia
• Perform minor procedures both surgical and nonsurgical;
• Attend regular meetings involving professionals who are a part of the health care team
• Customize a treatment plan unique to each patients symptoms and diagnosis
