Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SAP Sales & Distribution (SD-OTC) Analyst  for one of our partners, a global leader in the chemical industry field.

Job Summary:

The SAP Sales & Distribution (SD-OTC) Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Sales and Distribution module within the SAP ecosystem. With a primary focus on providing comprehensive technical support, the analyst is responsible for addressing a wide range of issues and requests related to SD-OTC functionalities. This encompasses troubleshooting issues, promptly resolving incidents, and fulfilling user requests to optimize Sales and Distribution processes. By leveraging deep expertise in the SD-OTC module, the specialist not only resolves immediate challenges but also proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and enhancement.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage resolution of the incidents by restoring services (Diagnose and resolve incidents promptly L2-L3). If needed escalate to SAP and follow up till reply is received from SAP (L4 in SAP). 
  • To identify the problems in the application and eliminate them by removing the root cause of the problem. 
  • Designing, developing, and implementing WRICEF objects in SAP SD-OTC modules
  • Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions within the SAP SD-OTC module to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SAP SD-OTC module, including incident resolution and request fulfillment within agreed SLAs, monitoring system performance, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests, setting clear expectations, and maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and provide solutions within SD-OTC functionalities.
  • Fulfill user requests related to SD-OTC configurations and transactional processes.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate teams or higher-level support as needed, while keeping users informed of progress.
  • Conduct testing and validation of SD-OTC module changes, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements or solutions to enhance the usability and reliability of SAP SD-OTC module.
  • Support the integration between SAP SD-OTC and other SAP modules, as well as with external systems, to support end-to-end business processes.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for order-to-cash process users to enhance their proficiency in utilizing SAP SD-OTC functionalities.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and service-level agreements while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
  • Stay updated on SAP SD-OTC functionalities, best practices, and industry trends.

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP SD-OTC module support and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in SAP SD-OTC configurations, enhancements, and transactional processes.
  • Understanding of integration points between SD-OTC and other SAP modules.
  • "SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution” certification is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL or similar support frameworks is advantageous.
  • Exhibits mastery in SAP SD-OTC functionalities to provide comprehensive support for order-to-cash process users, addressing complex technical challenges efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
