Consultant or Specialist Acute Medicine Doctor

As an Acute Medicine Doctor at SearchPlus HR, you will play a vital role in providing immediate and specialized care for patients with acute medical conditions.

In this position, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, cardiac emergencies, sepsis, and other acute illnesses. Responsibilities will include making accurate and timely diagnoses, performing necessary procedures, implementing appropriate treatment plans, and coordinating patient care in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with acute medical conditions in a timely manner
• Conduct thorough physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results
• Make accurate and prompt diagnoses based on patient history, physical findings, and test results
• Perform procedures such as central line insertions, lumbar punctures, and chest tube placements
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines
