Vacancy details:
- Position: HR Generalist
- Employment type: Part Time “3 Days per week”
Job description
- Identifying the company’s hiring needs and executing the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly.
- Creating, implementing, and evaluating all human resource department policies, procedures, and structures and providing feedback and interpretation for business operations.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.
- Prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross- functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Handling health and life insurance programs.
- Performing quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
- Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of the HR department and company.
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry for human resources information on systems and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field.
- Proven success working in an HR department for 2-3 years.
- Working in the biotech industry would be a great add on.
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.
- Good understanding of the full recruitment process.
