Front Desk Representative

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the front desk.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office, arranging security escort as required.
  • Receives, welcomes and escorts VIP visitors and/or business delegations.
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort and distribute mail/deliveries; in accordance with preset parameters.
  • Organize mail and/or deliverables between EBC premises.
  • Liaise with security to maintain updated visitors log.
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings as required.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations.
  • Perform other duties and administrative support as required (for example assist in collecting, recording and maintaining administration services data like supplies, stationery, etc.)


Requirements

  • University graduate.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic; speak, read and write
  • Proven work experience as a receptionist (at least 2 years in hospitality or 4 years in other industries; total experience should not exceed 5 years)
  • Customer service attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; specially Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
