Workshop Supervisor (Badr City)

NOV Energy Equipment (Egypt) is seeking an experienced Workshop/Repair Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the workshop, managing a team of skilled engineers and technicians, allocating resources, and ensuring that repair projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Plan and prioritize repair projects based on customer requirements and equipment availability.
• Supervise major equipment loading and offloading activities
• Provide continual evaluation of group’s processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure repairs meet industry standards.
• Verify inspections of repaired equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Supervise the process of ordering parts and materials for upcoming and ongoing jobs.
• Optimize the utilization of resources, equipment, and manpower to maximize productivity.
• Prepare and submit reports on workshop performance, resource utilization, and repair completion status.
• Provide technical inputs to the team and supervise testing processes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  
  

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience leading projects in an Engineering environment or in a similar supervisory role.
  
  

Skills, Training & Specialist Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Excel)
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and application.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings/schematics (Desirable)
• Experience with ERP Systems (e.g., Oracle, Tracker) is preferred.
• Oil and Gas Technical Knowledge (desirable)
• Arabic, English language (intermediate)
