As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will coordinate a diverse team across all shifts in his area to perform with full delivery the warehousing operations; ensuring safety, quality, compliance, consistent supply and cost objectives are in full adherence.


  • To be responsible for coordination of warehousing operations across all shifts.
  • To support the team, ensuring performance and development are balanced and delivered in line with personal and company goals.
  • To achieve targets and objectives of the area through continuous improvement tools by applying the GSK production system.
  • To guarantee that the fundamentals of safety, quality and compliance are clearly understood, in place and maintained through strong standards, showing leadership through personal accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountability


  • React effectively and rapidly on SAP issues with proper communication with SAP expertise to resolve any pending issues.
  • Reject/Hold/slow moving/high stocks inventory review through WH, Stocks and System Reports with clear visibility for proper needed actions to handle those stocks.
  • Coordinate Training & development activities by Support in defining training needs for team members and Enhance people soft and technical skills, team spirit and interpersonal skills.
  • Track actual performance vs. daily plan through monitoring of area KPIs within the area and take prompt corrective actions.
  • Leading EHS Departmental risk Assessments(DRA) Creation with co-ordination of Store Keepers and Operators.
  • Participate effectively in process improvement initiatives and projects for data gathering and running reports.
  • Participate in a definite scheduled runs of physical counts of materials to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Following up the WH spend, consumables, OT and shifts preparation.
  • Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is kept all the time.
  • Maintain Good documentation practice in all Warehouse areas.
  • Ensure the proper communication channel between WH organizational layers (cascading the messages & escalating the issues).


Complexity:


  • Managing operation targets across three operation shifts requires a high degree of self-resilience and ability to assess the impact of non-standard safety and/or quality events.
  • Aware of site and supply chain performance and role in influencing the performance measures.
  • Able to lead multiple tasks across multiple WH’s.
  • Able to switch between team management and shift coordinator activities.
  • Requirement to liaise and interface with a wide range of supporting functions including quality, engineering, logistics, Safety, etc.

  • At least 5 years of experience in WH activities.
  • Experience of management a team, operations, project or systems.
  • Experience of leading continuous improvement.
  • Practical understanding of operational quality, EHS, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to influence, make decisions with direct business impact.
  • Advanced computer skills including SAP and Microsoft office.
  • 5 years of experience using SAP.
  • Excellent English command.
