The ecommerce manager is responsible for developing and implementing online sales strategies to drive growth and achieve profit targets for the organization's e-commerce channel.
Key responsibilities:
- develop short to mid-term strategies for the e-commerce channel to drive revenue and growth.
- research market demographics and optimize methods to maximize search engine and e-commerce application traffic.
- drive sales and enhance the online presence of products/services with retailers and third-party e-commerce partners.
- analyze sales data to identify new e-commerce opportunities and partnerships.
- negotiate agreements with e-commerce partners to maximize value.
- prepare and manage the budget for the e-commerce channel.
- develop monthly plans and targets to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- manage seasonal promotions on e-commerce platforms in collaboration with the marketing team.
- build relationships with third-party e-commerce applications to negotiate online ad space.
- track e-commerce sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- set team targets and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure motivation and development.
- ensure timely and accurate preparation of departmental reports.
Qualifications:
- fmcg experience.
- 7-9 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, marketing, and sales, with a focus on online sales.
- bachelor's degree in any field (preferably qualified in e-commerce).
- certification/training in e-commerce from a reputable institution.
