What Will You Do

To serve as a critical interface between the HC Centers of Excellence (HC CoE), Talent Partners, and the International Talent Partners by providing strategic and operational Human Capital guidance, planning and project support to assure Talent Partner organizational effectiveness in fulfilling Mubadala’s strategy and business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Global Talent Operations:

  • Support delivery of a Global Talent Operations strategy that aligns with the business and directs towards continued growth, innovation, and improvement of the employee lifecycle globally.
  • Provide support on all international office people and organizational matters ensuring the provision of reliable and timely support and guidance to the international office(s).
  • Provide operational support and first-hand contributions to the international offices people processes such as workforce planning, people policy, compensation and benefits, systems, etc.
  • Coordinate international office(s) expansion plans across platforms and navigate people related requirements and challenges in concert with the Talent Partners.

Special Projects:

  • Support execution of enterprise-wide projects in partnership with Talent Partners, HC CoEs, and Business and Corporate stakeholders.
  • Support initiation of collaborative cross-functional projects with HC stakeholders, Business and Corporate stakeholders and external partners.

Human Capital Strategy and Solutions:

  • Provide support on human capital services, programs, and frameworks, in close partnership with the HC CoE, ensuring effective execution in line with the HC strategy, HC CoE guidelines, HC engagement model and Delegation of Authority matrix.
  • Coordinate translation of business challenges and priorities into effective and tailored solutions and strategies to enable the delivery of business results through people and address unique challenges
  • Provide business inputs and insight that aid the development and enhancement of HC frameworks, solutions, policies, and procedures to ensure relevancy to business needs.
  • Provide support to develop and implement effective solutions, in partnership with the HC CoE, to address factors that improve engagement across platform(s) and international office(s).

Talent Partners Engagement:

  • Identify opportunities within the Talent Partners service delivery for continuous improvement through HC systems, processes, policies, and practices globally through engagement with the Talent Partner community.
  • Support in enhancing processes impacting the Talent Partners and execute transactional activities, as required, to enable more time for the provision of value-adding / advisory services by the Talent Partners.
  • Engage with respective Head(s) of Talent to understand and assess a holistic business requirements and challenges from an organization and people perspective.
  • Coordinate regularly with the HC CoE on all operational matters impacting the Talent Partners team on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficient workflow of activities and that all HC issues, queries and clarifications related to the platform(s) are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate translation of CoE programs into action plans and align with Talent Partners on an engagement model.
  • Provide advice and support to respective Head(s) of Talent / Talent Partners, as applicable, on people and organisational matters, and share best practices and insight that enables and enhances their HC talent operations.

Advisory Support:

  • Work with the Talent Operations team and Executive Director, Talent Partners on providing operational support to MIC senior management on issues relating to their people agenda.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including platforms and international offices, as applicable, to provide and receive relevant inputs on HC matters and serve the best interests of the organisation.

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures:

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of functional systems, policies, processes, and practices considering ‘international leading practice’ to improve business processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of functional systems, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements.

Data and Reporting:

  • Aggregate talent data to develop deeper insights across platforms, units, and international offices.
  • Prepare functional reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Mubadala Investment Company’s requirements, and the functional requirements, policies, and standards.

What Will You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Human Capital function
  • Preferably, experience in a large-scale organisation with complex business operations.
  • Additional relevant international or operational HC experience is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the end-to-end human capital value chain and technical human capital capability across relevant domains (reward, organizational design, talent management, etc.
  • Good knowledge of business operations to support procure to pay activities, service model development, lean operational process, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of Mubadala Investment Company’s HC frameworks, methodologies, policies, processes, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of change management, and ability to facilitate the implementation of change by successfully engaging with senior level stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Mubadala Investment Company’s operations and sectors, and ability to lead the delivery of tailored solutions in line with specific business requirements.
  • Good knowledge of influencing and communication techniques, and ability to report and influence at senior level.
