Safety, Security and Compliance

  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Will be the Go To person for all matters of Human Resources for the ISP team.
  • Will provide the right strategic and operational HR advise to Vice President ISP and the Global ISP team and also look at developing capabilities for the ISP function that are critical for the strategic growth of the business.
  • Work closely with VP-ISP in looking at talent gaps and have the right organization in place aligning with business needs.
  • Lead efforts in providing the personnel and related costs on the commercial front for a successful bidding process. Proactive talent mapping to be initiated from bidding stage with the assumption that contract is awarded to us.
  • Will keep track of career development programs of personnel within ISP and coordinate with employees and Managers for successfully completing the assessments on time.
  • Lead and execute the Project Mobilizations with meticulous planning and coordination that covers spotting and hiring the best talent, continuous engagement during the process and mobilizing personnel in close coordination with Geo Zone and Country HR teams and Hiring Managers. Ensure personnel hired have qualifications and certifications as stipulated in the client contract.
  • Will provide continuous updates to all stakeholders on Mobilization projects. Will closely track the personnel costs and see that is inline with the BSA that was part of the tender submission.
  • Work in close coordination with Project Managers in evaluating the personnel of Drilling Contractors and other key service providers, prior engaging them in the project and ensure they are competent, qualified and have right certifications.
  • Set up systems in place along with Operations & Quality functions to continuously evaluate competency of personnel of Drilling Contractor or other key operational service providers that can affect overall project performance. Ensure personnel are hired and have certifications as outlined in the contract.
  • Ensure that all WFRD field personnel are having required Fitness to Work and training certifications as outlined in different contracts of customers and per country legislations.
  • Continuously visit project sites and engage with field personn.
  • Conduct town halls while on Field visits and cascade clear message on safety, efficiency and broad organizational objectives.
  • Drive Performance Management Process for the business starting with Annual Operating Plan workshops, goal setting process and ensuring mid year reviews, annual reviews, KPIs setting happen on time. Ensure that the whole Performance Management process is linked to larger corporate objectives and KPIs set are of good quality.
  • Work closely with all stake holders within Weatherfords broader HR team and ensure that own objectives and plans are fully aligned with Global HR plans, programs and priorities.
  • Continuously net work within the industry and take an active role participating in various meetings of professional bodies like IADC & SPE. Given an opportunity will be part of HR Committees of these professional forums.
  • Engage continuously with all other HR stake holders within the organization including HRC, Geozone, Country, Talent Acquisition, Training and Employee Relations.

  • Embrace changes happening in the organization and cascade the company objectives and plans effectively to team members.

  • Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure.

Qualifications

Required

Experience and Education

  • Bachelors degree from an University of repute
  • MBA in Human Resource or a CIPD Chartered Fellow or HRCI/SHRM Certification of SPHR or GPHR equivalent.
  • 15 to 18 years of relevant experience of having worked in an Upstream Oil & Gas industry.
  • Computer Proficiencies: Microsoft Office, Well control simulation software


Additional certifications

  • Coaching will be a big advantage
