Robert Walters is collaborating with a prominent global events company as they seek to expand their current team in the region. They are in search of experienced Sales Managers who can play a key role in driving revenue growth and nurturing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts with five and six figure contract value
  • Cultivate strong relationships with a cross-section of stakeholders with a consultative approach
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed show and personal revenue and profit targets
  • Undertaking research to understand the market objectives, aims and ambitions of your client base
  • To work closely with and within each business to identify its aims, objectives and requirements
  • To identify new sales opportunities and develop them into long-term relationships
  • Attend events and liaising with exhibitor and sponsor clients onsite to ensure that their contract is fulfilled and all their concerns and needs are addressed.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in B2B conference and exhibition sponsorship sales, either domestically or globally.
  • Preference for candidates who have recent experience in the mining/energy sector (bonus)
  • Experience in exhibition and sponsorship sales with a proven track record of strong sales skills.
  • Proficiency in lead generation, cold calling, and working with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
  • Ability to cultivate sponsorship and exhibition proposals, including identifying key decision-makers for sales closure.
  • Ideally, experience or familiarity with the mining/energy market (bonus, not a requirement).
