Job Summary:

The IT and Business Application Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications and systems within an organization. They play a crucial role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives and ensuring the efficient and effective use of technology to support business processes.

Job Description:

  • Application Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of business applications, including planning, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, evaluating and selecting appropriate applications, and overseeing their deployment and integration.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of various business applications and systems to optimize data flow and enhance operational efficiency. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as IT teams, vendors, and business users, to implement integration solutions and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with business leaders to develop long-term IT strategies that align with organizational goals. Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve business processes, increase productivity, and drive innovation. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement new solutions.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for application development, support, and maintenance. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure the team's effectiveness and professional growth. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party vendors and consultants for application development, implementation, and support. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with business applications, such as data security, system availability, and compliance with relevant regulations. Develop and implement robust backup and disaster recovery plans. Ensure data privacy and protection measures are in place.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of application configurations, processes, and user guides. Prepare regular reports on application performance, system upgrades, and project status. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and recommendations as needed.
  • IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and hardware components.
  • Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of infrastructure systems.
  • Monitor system performance and address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure optimal operation.
  • IT Operations and Support: Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services, including user support, troubleshooting, and incident management.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity.
  • Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Information Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization's IT assets and data.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures, including user access controls, data backups, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Stay abreast of security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement necessary safeguards.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, manage project budgets, and ensure successful project delivery.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field is a Must.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an IT Manager
  • Manage and lead at least 2 successful ERP Projects (Business and Infrastructure) is a mandatory.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
  • Experience in leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Conditions:

  • Hybrid.
  • 8 working hours, 2 days off.
