• Job responsibilities:
• Daily Bank Transaction Booking:
• Accurately record all incoming and outgoing bank transactions on a daily basis.
• Ensure proper classification of transactions according to relevant accounts and categories.
• Maintain organized records of all bank transactions for easy reference and auditing purposes.
• Daily Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements with the company's accounting records.
• Identify and investigate any discrepancies between the bank statement and internal records.
• Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare Final Bank Reconciliation:
• Consolidate the daily reconciliations into a final bank reconciliation at the end of each accounting period.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the final reconciliation, addressing any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
• Provide detailed explanations for any reconciling items or adjustments made during the reconciliation process.
• Communication:
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as finance, treasury, and operations teams, to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
