Our Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of restaurant operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, staff management, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure all food safety and health regulations are followed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed.
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and supervising restaurant staff.
  • Schedule shifts and manage labor costs.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered by all staff members.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor, interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing the restaurants budget and financial performance.
  • Monitor sales and revenue targets, implementing strategies to achieve them.
  • Assist in cost control and waste reduction efforts.
  • Support promotional activities and special events to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement marketing strategies.
  • Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with the culinary team.
  • Ensure menu items are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
  • A degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and management.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
