Neonatologist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neonatologist to join our team of talented healthcare professionals. As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborns, particularly those born prematurely or with health complications.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat newborns with various health conditions, including premature birth, respiratory distress, infections, birth defects, and other congenital disorders.
• Provide comprehensive care to premature babies and those with health complications, including monitoring vital signs, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medication, and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to provide coordinated and specialized care to newborns.
• Educate and support parents on their child's health and development, including feeding, sleeping, and growth milestones.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology to provide the highest level of care to newborns.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with current medical practices, research, and advancements in neonatology.
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine from the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Valid state medical license and DEA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
