Overview

The Europe Procurement Control – Assistant Analyst Contracts is responsible for managing the Europe Procurement Contract management Process for defined Procurement Categories in accordance with Pepsico Procurement, PepsiCo Europe Sector and SwissCo policies and guidelines. The incumbent is also the proxy of the Europe Procurement Control Contract Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Europe Procurement owned contracts in the European contract management system (MyContracts/Selectica) by reviewing supply contracts and ensure (1) contracts comply to GP Policies, Europe Sector Policies and SwissCo guidlines (2) contract information is maintained accurately in the contract management system (3) the approval workflow is accurate
  • Provide system support (MyContracts/Selectica) as well as guidance and training on policies to the Europe Procurement purchasing teams
  • Maintain the contract management system, including supplier and PepsiCo entity directory as well as user management
  • Execute the monthly contract log reporting to the procurement team highlighting expired contracts. Collect feedback from the Procurement teams regarding the status of the contracts. Conduct and facilitate the monthly contract council meeting.
  • Support the Europe Procurement Cntrl & Rpt Analyst (1) in preparing the Europe Procurement financial reporting (e.g. Contractual obligations and Commercial Commitments, FLTC UK contract review, etc) (2) in maintaining the SwissCo approval hierarchy (MyContracts and SAP) (3) with GCS testing, MyContract reports and other regular requirements
  • Participate in projects driving efficiencies and simplification of the contract management process
  • This position is the deputy of the Europe Procurement Cntrl & Rpt Analyst during any absences (e.g. myContracts User Management including Control approval, prioritization of Contract Management team, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Economics with main focus on Finance/Control & Accounting or at least 3-4 years experience in Finance/Control & Accounting in ideally a global FMCG company
  • Excellent English language skills (read, write, speak)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes and internal controls, and interpreting legal language
  • Very good MS Office knowledge
  • Ability to work across various countries and cultures
