Job Purpose

Income Auditor is responsible to assure the accuracy of daily management reports by inspecting all backups for proper documentation; Complete daily revenue balancing and audit of hotel revenue against individual department reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Functional Accountabilities


  • Prepare daily revenue report
  • Prepare daily DTCM report
  • Prepare daily statistics report
  • Uploading the revenue and statistics in daily basis from Opera to Sun system
  • Credit card reconciliation between POS and Opera.
  • Guest ledger reconciliation
  • Ensure all backups received for credit card transactions and sent to Accounts receivables
  • Scrutiny and reconciliation of rebate/adjustment vouchers
  • Review and maintain record of daily covers, discounts reports
  • Reconciliation of guest in house rates and revenue
  • No show and cancellation reports
  • Prepare and submission of daily management report.
  • Forex rate updating in the system
  • Daily void reports
  • Daily reconciliation of revenue outlets between Opera, Micro and Spa-Booker
  • Housekeeping discrepancy report to be checked in daily basis
  • Prepare month end reports
  • Minimum 3-4 Years working in Income Audit
  • Computer knowledge (Opera, Sun System & Excel).


Qualifications And Experience


  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
  • Strong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate
  • A good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required
