Role Summary

The Facilities Manager oversees all office aspects and functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. The tasks include safety inspections, liaising with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records etc

ROLE PROFILE

  • Demonstrates leadership/management skills to deal with issues ranging senior level to administrative to maintenance / engineering.
  • Ensures daily inspection of the offices and coordination with Hard Services 3rd party /Security/Housekeeping for any issues, collects and reviews any failures
  • Ensures KPI and SLA are met according to the 3rd party contracts
  • Conducts monthly meetings with 3rd party service providers and address any breech or variation reported by the Operations Specialist and creates minutes of meetings and distributes them.
  • Carries out ad hoc inspection checks for different aspects of the assets (storages, other back of houses, washrooms, public corridors, storage(s), Data Centre, etc.)
  • Ensures the team is prepared for any office emergencies, supports creating office evacuation and other action plans, promoting safety at the offices.
  • Ensure H&S requirements are up to date and comply with local requirement
  • Ensures the contractors working at the offices have received induction on Fire, Health, and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities engineering, or related qualification such as project management, construction management
  • 5-10 years of work experience in a facilities management role
  • Experience within Real Estate
  • Extensive experience in construction, maintenance, and facilities operation
  • High level of managerial skills, interpersonal and communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Solid foundation of understanding business practices and goals, develops and formulates solutions to problems on assigned tasks.
