Interior FF&E Designer

AE Recruitment is honoured to be a part of this company's journey. We worked with one of the founding Partners years ago, finding her work and they've now hired us to find an Interior FF&E Designer for their growing boutique business, specialising in hospitality and mixed-use projects.

You will be responsible for design leadership, leading the design team, providing guidance, support and spearheading the FF&E department across a very harmonious team that strives for a balanced, design driven company that has one goal... to make every day a genuine team effort!

Your role will be to:

• Take the lead to spearhead the FF&E Design on multiple projects simultaneously: including scheduling, communicating with clients, contractors and vendors.
• Present your own, unique FF&E Designs that align with each individual clients' needs and budget.
• Present the company's vision with Architects, Engineers and Contractors, to co-ordinate schedules, budgets and designs to ensure the integrity of the design remains in tact and most of all, on budget.
• Ensure all work meets the companys' qualify standards and meets the clients' expectations.
• Develop and maintain the FF&E budget.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or relevant industry.
• You must have previous experience ensuring that projects remain on budget, whilst maintaining the company brand and design style!
• Minimum 5 years experience with relevant managerial experience, maintaining quality of design!
• FF&E Design background is essential..... we're not looking for individuals who select materials, you MUST be a designer 1st and foremost!
• Presentation skills at the conceptual stage are essential.
