Our client: A well reputed consumer goods firm is looking for Regional IT Head for their Dubai Office.
Your Role
- The Regional Head IT will define the IT vision and mission based on business strategy and key priorities, driving the Automation and Digitalization Agenda over the few years. They will consolidate and share the digitization strategy roadmap with division leadership, define the Digital Operating model, and design the IT team structure accordingly. The role involves generating the IT budget by consolidating budgets from each business unit and budgeting for division-wide initiatives.
- In terms of operational responsibilities, the Regional Head IT will oversee the definition of IT frameworks, policies, standards, and guidelines, review benchmarks to develop best-in-class IT policies and governance mechanisms, and define IT performance metrics and service standards to govern IT service levels (KPIs).The role involves defining strategies, policies, and processes for infrastructure and communication management, driving the maintenance, configuration, and performance of networks and communication systems, overseeing planning and development of cloud data and applications architecture, and overseeing the establishment of data centers.
- The Regional Head IT will define IT Security Architecture, oversee the formulation of robust policies, processes, and standards, guide compliance and audit verticals on effective controls execution, formulate a robust IT risk management framework, and oversee information security, privacy, and data protection controls.The Regional Head IT will communicate internally with department heads and business teams and externally with IT vendors, service providers, external auditors, and industry forums.
- Must Haves: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, with 15+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership position, preferably in the consumer products or packaged goods sector.
- Technical skills required are business strategy understanding, IT policies and procedures, financial acumen, large-scale IT project implementation, enterprise architecture, systems design and development, infrastructure management, system analysis, data management, information security, network administration, business intelligence, and vendor management.
