Our client, a leading global wealth organization, is looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their Dubai team.

In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in assisting in the creation of financial management reports and analytics for the company, as well as developing effective financial reporting processes and procedures, a professional who can work closely with local and global financial executives. The ideal candidate must be a qualified chartered accountant with strong accounting skills, strong power of Power BI, Power Querry, SQL and experience working SAP S/4 HANA.

  • Prepare financial information for executive committee’s reports and other necessary reports.
  • Ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts and KPIs, ensuring that the content and format adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the business to develop detailed budgets, forecasts, and business plans, ensuring these plans are understood, accepted, and owned by stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor and review performance against plans to facilitate robust variance reporting, ensuring management is aware of variances, their causes, and assisting in identifying necessary remedial actions.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the company’s cost base to collaborate with the business in identifying and implementing cost efficiency opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain regional net contribution and cost center reporting models across the group.
  • Implement and maintain capital/project expenditure reporting models across the group.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures necessary for robust financial reporting controls across group entities.

Requirements

  • Certified accountant with excellent accounting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to support change management initiatives.
  • Excellent at prioritizing and managing time for both self and team.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Effectively handles conflicting demands with clear prioritization and communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration within finance and across the business.
  • Professional experience in a brokerage setting or any financial institution.
  • Technical user of SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI, Power Query, SQL, SAP S/4 HANA.
