About Role:

We are looking for a committed and proactive IT Support Assistant to deliver initial technical support to our end-users. The perfect candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, a robust understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks, and outstanding communication skills.


Responsibilities:

Here are the main responsibilities:


  1. Offer first-level technical assistance to end-users, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
  2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems to ensure they run efficiently.
  4. Assist with user account setup, permission management, and security protocol maintenance.
  5. Conduct basic network troubleshooting, diagnose connectivity issues, and configure network devices.
  6. Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment and software to ensure they function properly.
  7. Record support requests and solutions in the IT ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
  8. Help manage IT assets, including tracking and inventorying hardware and software licenses.
  9. Work with the IT team to identify and implement improvements in IT support operations.


Requirements:

Here are the qualifications and skills required:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of the computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT software applications.
